I also had the opportunity to visit one of the monasteries in Siem Reap, Preah Prohm Roath, where I found out more about Buddha and his journey as Siddhartha to his enlightenment.

Preah Prohm Roath, Siem Reap. When Siddhartha left the palace with his charioteer Channa, he observed four sights: An old man, a sick man, a corpse and an ascetic. These four sights are represented in this statue.
