October in Cambodia is the end of rainy season. Last week there were a number of heavy storms which led to flooding across the Cambodia, including in and around Siem Reap. The rains happen annually but the locals said that they hadn't seen flooding this bad since 2008. Just on the drive to Trailblazer workshop we saw the extent of the damage caused by the floods.

Last week in Siem Reap after a very heavy night of rain. Many people had their homes and businesses flooded. The ground was saturated and so the floods lasted a number of days after the storm.

The road to the Trailblazer project. Our very skilful Tuk Tuk driver got us there safe and sound after a detour.
