Shibori scarf making After a few weeks of not creating anything, and with craft withdrawal symptoms, we headed to a workshop to make a traditional Japanese scarf. Using the ‘Shibora’ technique, which involves using different stencils and knots to create shapes before dying. The workshop was great fun and we found out a lot about textiles in Japan and the hours and hours of work which go into producing high quality kimonos. We also got to dress up!
