My last full day on the North Island was spent in New Zealand’s capital city, Wellington. I made the

The Te Papa National Museum was a fantastic place to spend an afternoon and a beautiful walk along the harbour to get there.  

A very informative and moving exhibition on the role of New Zealand in the First World War. Stories from differing people with diverse perspectives and roles in the war. 

Quick geography fix in the amazing tectonics section of the museum. 

Street art near Cuba Street for Mrs Buckley - I know she is likes a Bowie picture. 

The cable car ride in Wellington to get the best views of the city. 

A beautiful day in the capital city. Look how blue the sea is. I understand why they call it Windy Wellington though. Another woolly hat with shorts moment in New Zealand. 

The best bit about Wellington - meeting up with Justine. Was great to carch up and hear about her post Cambodia adventure in Vietnam. Home cooked food was amazing! I loved how we started with cheese and biscuits - which in week 4 of Cambodia I mentioned on a daily basis!
