Thousands of symbols are carved on the river bed and divided to represent the trinity of Hindu gods.
At the summit of the mountain is the Buddhist pagoda with a 8 meters long reclining Buddha which was carved into the sandstone in the 16th century.

Mount Kulen is also famous for its waterfall, which splits in two spots the first waterfall is four or five meters high.

The water which flows through the river is considered holy and Khmers like to bottle it to take home with them. The source of water eventually flows in to Tonle Sap Lake and is thought to bless the water ways of Cambodia.
