Wow, this is exciting, my 100th post! That must mean I am getting close to the end of my adventure -

Rainy Rotorua! We had an amazing two weeks of sunny weather - this was the only time the rain jacket came out - was expecting to be soaked everyday!

A very brave Sharon, Rachelle and Jenny dealing with the rain to see the hot springs and pools at Wai-O-Tapu Geothermal Wonderland.

Some information about the park and pictures of what it looks like in the sunshine.

Devil's bath at Wai-O-Tapu geothermal park. Yellow colour created but sulphur levels.

Every day at 10:15am the Lady Knox Geyser erupts. The guide explained that they discovered the hot springs and geysers over one hundred years ago, when local prisoners doing their laundry triggered the geyser to erupt! It's like a gigantic Year 7 model volcano with vinegar and bicarbonate soda.

Welcome to Huke Falls. Loved this sign post - lots of geographical features to spot.

The stunning Huka Falls, the river eventually flows through a dam to create HEP.

Travelling through the Taupo volcanic zone on North Island. A quick photo stop to capture the beauty of Ngauruhoe.

Arriving in Windy Wellington after a long road trip from Rotorua. Beautiful city.
